Michelle Duthrie

Michelle has celebrated 12 years as a successful floral and event designer. She attended school at the State of New York Botanical Gardens where she realized her natural ability with flowers and developed her artistic design sensibilities. She has visited and studied in Holland, the flower capital of the world, updating her techniques and gathering the latest European concepts for her clients in the USA.

Michelle free-lanced for 4 years under the direction of Michael Ereshena, Special Event Resource, located in Palm Beach Florida. It was this job experience that taught her the art of orchestrating magnificent events for the rich and famous in such venues as the Breakers, Fisher Island Miami, and private affairs on the Kennedy and Trump Estates.

Presently Michelle resides in Connecticut where she operates and owns Innovative Florals. This new endeavor as the event & wedding coordinator for Priam Vineyards, as well as consulting as an event planner, has been a perfect showcase of Michelle’s talents and creative approach to events that go beyond all expectation. Michelle’s partnering with Priam Vineyards to oversee and develop the wedding operations of the vineyard is making this location one of the greatest, most sought-after and romantic destinations in Connecticut for your dream-come-true wedding or event.

She believes in listening to her clients and helping them to achieve their goals for a successful event. She knows that only through detailed communication can the goals of the clients be met.

Over the years, she has executed and designed corporate and social events with clients that include high-profile celebrities. In addition to her modern and elegant style for planning, she brings the art of creativity and personalization to every event. She adds special attention to details and is structurally organized.
